At Everyday Chem (operated by SHRI VILAKSH ENTERPRISES), we strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction with every order. Due to the specialized nature of our chemical products (laboratory, cosmetics, food-grade, housekeeping, laundry, etc.), most items are non-returnable once dispatched for safety, regulatory, and quality reasons. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Cancellations
- Cancellation requests must be made within 3 hours from the time of order confirmation.
- To request cancellation, please contact us immediately via the Contact Us link/form on the website or email us at support@everydaychem.com.
- Once we process your cancellation request and confirm it, we will initiate the refund within the next 24 hours.
- Once the order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
2. Returns
- Due to the nature of chemical products (including purity, safety, contamination risks, and regulatory compliance), returns are generally not accepted once the order is dispatched.
- Exceptions may apply only in cases of:
- Defective product
- Damaged during transit
- Materially incorrect product delivered (wrong item/quantity)
- Such cases must be reported within 48 hours of receipt, with photos of the issue, packaging, and proof of purchase.
- Approved returns must be in original, unopened condition (where applicable), with intact seals and labels.
- We reserve the right to inspect returned products before processing any refund or replacement.
- Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the issue is due to our error.
3. Refunds
Available Refund Options Refunds are processed to the original mode of payment used at the time of purchase (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, etc.).
Scenarios for Full Refund
- If we are unable to deliver your order for any reason attributable to us, a complete refund will be issued.
- In cases of non-delivery due to bad weather, courier/vendor issues, or any other unexpected circumstances beyond our control, we will still provide a 100% refund of the order amount.
- We shall not be liable for any additional charges, loss of profits, emotional stress, consequential damages, or any other liability arising from non-delivery or delays.
Refund Processing Time
- For cancellations (within 3 hours): Refund initiated within 24 hours.
- For approved returns or non-delivery cases: Refund processed after verification.
- If the refund is issued via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking, please allow 12 to 18 working days for the amount to reflect in your account. This timeline is controlled by your bank/payment gateway, and we have no control over it.
Non-Refundable Situations
- Orders that have been dispatched and delivered as per specifications.
- Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with (except for genuine defect claims reported timely).
- Custom-formulated or specially ordered products (unless defective).
